IMPORTANT CENTRE UPDATE
2 April 2020
Please be advised that late yesterday afternoon Brickworks Marketplace centre management received notification from the management of Direct Chemist Outlet that a staff member had tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19).
The team member was tested on Monday March 30, 2020 for COVID-19 and received a positive result yesterday. The management of Direct Chemist Outlet has received advice from the Communicable Disease Control Branch and the National Coronavirus Hotline that the period of concern for transmission is isolated to Sunday March 29, 2020. The team member last worked in the store at Brickworks Marketplace on Saturday March 28, 2020.
Based on the information provided to the Communicable Disease Control Branch and the National Coronavirus Hotline by the team member, they have advised the management of Direct Chemist Outlet that it is unlikely the team member was contagious during their last shift in the store at Brickworks Marketplace.
The Brickworks Marketplace centre management team has completed an overnight deep clean of the centre as a precautionary hygiene measure.
Safeguarding the health of our tenant customers, our team and our community remains our priority and we will keep you updated with any further information as it becomes available to us.
